Imagination, Awareness, and Creativity
I try to live my life grounded in integrity, creativity, and mindful awareness. I try to be present in all I do. I have a passion for learning and a commitment to excellence in everything I undertake, whether through my work or my other interests: the study of philosophy, my martial arts practice, a love for music and art, or the wisdom of Buddhism. I enjoy exploring life’s deeper questions and discovering insights that inspire personal growth and compassionate living. More than anything, I value connecting with people. I love meeting people, sharing ideas, and supporting others on their own journeys with kindness, understanding, and an open heart. Every experience is an opportunity to learn, to value more and grow. I’m always hopeful to find opportunities to affect positive change.
A wonderful thing about human beings is the seemingly limitless potential and capacity of imagination, awareness, and creativity we each possess. This is a universal equality in all of us. Imagination frees us from the small corner of a limited existence we know, awareness connects us with the divine, and creativity is the means of expression in the manifestation of our thoughts and actions.
Yet, it strikes me that many neglect or fail to realize this human potential and the possibilities. It should be common knowledge: our thoughts, dreams, delusions, fantasies and desires, the secrets we keep dear, our ambitions and contrivances, manifest into our experience of the world of our making. But it seems like a mystery to so many. The world is like a mirror, reflecting our thoughts and feelings back to us, for better or worse. People sometimes ask, who made this world I live in? Well… it was you. Change your mind and change the world.

I’ve had a colorful life and some extraordinary experiences. Over the last three decades, many friends have suggested I write about my life, suggesting the wisdom I’ve gained could inspire others. Modesty prevents me from saying much about my life. Like all human beings, you have to spend time with them to know them. I deserve no kudos or accolades; I simply did the best I could at the time.
